The teaching of reading: a political tool for emancipation in the context of disinformation

   Informational reading and understanding of the different discourse genres are one of the main tools that teachers and students have to understand and interpret the situation and the stages. Therefore, the researching act and/or the information practice, contains a close and sensitive universe that crosses contexts, reconstructs practices and warns what is happening around us.
   Therefore, from this scenario, it is important that from the communication field we consolidate the right to secure information and democratic exchange to avoid falling into the plots of misinformation, saturation and media confusion. In this regard, the political dimension of reading makes it possible to forge notions of emancipation, achieve a pedagogy of hope and also, enhance a counter-hegemonic view.
