Las prácticas profesionales escolares desde la perspectiva del profesorado en formación inicial: una aproximación a sus enfoques y conceptuaciones

The Practicum from pre-service teachers’ perspectives: an approach to their boarding and concepts

   The practicum is a main aspect in professional training; several theories agree the relevance of knowledge and experience to develop the student competencies required in the workplace; that motivates research on this topic. This article analyzes the elements of practicum (conceptualization, objectives, expectations, activities carried out and contribution to professional training) from the opinion of students of the bachelor of education, based on four approaches: subject, learning, application and professionalization. It is concluded that students value professionalization as the most important approach associated with professional school practices.
